Noordhoek Estate near Cape Town in South Africa consists of two buildings on five acres of land of paddock and pine woods; first unit is a two story 360sq.m. and is housing the main residence and secondary building is a two story 210sq.m. and is housing garages and stables on ground and office/guest apartment on first floor. The client with rich experience in construction industry had strong ideas for construction techniques and detailing to be used,  witch helped in creating, in general, open and light dwellings within planing constrains that called for full respect of vernacular architectural values of the area.
